Take Old Las Vegas Hwy to Ojo de la Vaca 51 and go under I25, go east 1.5 miles, cross creek on concrete, cross rr tracks go 150 yrds or so , turn right on Spirit Valley, go south for 1/2 more or less, go down steep hill towards big black trestle bridge, cross creek slowly and purposefully, this begins the property, go past casita, see windmill, park where marked, will have large tip jar for Joe (voluntary donation), bring your special beverages of choice and snack/picnic stuff for self or share; either, lots to do: tale a hike, go to creek, play in sand/beach, dance couples or singly, open studio and open ranch, see sculptures, etc., will have Ben Remmer’s fire globe and who knows what else, slideshow and clips on back of stage, etc. Property is 40 acres and has large cliff and escarpment on one side and rr tracks on other. restroom will be marked, Enjoy. Main house is closed except when accompanied by owners. We will be jamming part of the time (an offshoot of the Joe West/Mary’s Bar jam sessions from this winter and ongoing open jam sessions with acoustic sounds and informal. Joe West will be a special guest and help with the dance and great sounds, also informal. This should be a great bash. Some may want to stay and share food and hang later but main event is a limited time frame.
