This staircase balustrade is my 'master work'; is solid cast bronze using natural stick elements that are part of my 'vocabulary' of created molds that facilitate the making of 'waxes' that then are used in a 53-step process of making the bronze sculptures as you see them. The handrail has solid bronze rod on both side of the polished 'sticks' and the handrail continues in a semi-circle starting at the top with an 'Awesome Guy' and 'looking' down the stairwell towards the bottom 'newel', which is my "Walking Guy", that can be viewed equally plausibly as going 'up' or 'down'. I was asked what I wanted to do for this new home project (furniture, cabinets, trim carpentry, other staircase, doors, etc...). I opted to do the 'world class' staircase. an exterior staircase, many curved wall projects, door hangings, skylight installations, custom canales, latillas, copper work, natural rustic portal, fountain and other details. This work was recently featured, with a full page photo of my balustrade, in the Santa Fe New Mexican’s monthly magazine, Home Santa Fe Real Estate Guide, June 2018 http://enewmexican.pressreader.com/@adventuretrails@earthlink.net/csb_-y_JTfGxNXWTA4dvh60D41gZObejY-InBre7suFnsLDEREd2f2v62NSa_15q6fiSjSPvTuid4O1kwC1Swc-eVA
